Acamprosate Calcium Acamprosate calcium is a gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)agonist and modulator of glutamatergic systems. It has been used in alcohol dependence treatments and may be an effective augmentation therapy in patients with treatment-resistant anxiety.
