Carmustine
Carmustine is antineoplastic nitrosourea. Carmustine alkylates and cross-links DNA during all phases of the cell cycle, resulting in disruption of DNA function, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This agent also carbamoylates proteins, including DNA repair enzymes, resulting in an enhanced cytotoxic effect. Carmustine is highly lipophilic and crosses the blood-brain barrier readily. It is used in the treatment of brain tumors, multiple myeloma and some lymphomas. Group: Pharmaceutical. Alternative Names: 1,3-Bis(2-chloroethyl)-1-nitrosourea; BCNU; Carmustin. CAS No. 154-93-8. Pack Sizes: 5 g. Product ID: B2693-465289. Molecular formula: C5H9Cl2N3O2. Mole weight: 214.05. Custom synthesis is available. Send your inquiries for more information.

Palifosfamide
Palifosfamide is a synthetic mustard compound with potential antineoplastic activity. An active metabolite of ifosfamide covalently linked to the amino acid lysine for stability, palifosfamide irreversibly alkylates and cross-links DNA through GC base pairs, resulting in irreparable 7-atom inter-strand cross-links; inhibition of DNA replication and cell death follow. Unlike ifosfamide, this agent is not metabolized to acrolein or chloroacetaldehyde, metabolites associated with bladder and CNS toxicities. In addition, because palifosfamide does not require activation by aldehyde dehydrogenase, it may overcome the tumor resistance seen with ifosfamide. Group: Pharmaceutical. Alternative Names: Isophosphamide mustard; Isophosphoramide mustard; IPAM; bis(2-chloroethylamino)phosphinic acid. CAS No. 31645-39-3. Pack Sizes: 10 mg. Product ID: B0084-090037. Molecular formula: C4H11Cl2N2O2P. Mole weight: 221.018. Custom synthesis is available. Send your inquiries for more information.

PX-478 dihydrochloride
PX-478 is an HIF-1alpha inhibitor and an orally active small molecule with potential antineoplastic activity. Although its mechanism of action has yet to be fully elucidated, HIF1-alpha inhibitor PX-478 appears to inhibit hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF1A) expression, which may result in decreased expression of HIF1A downstream target genes important to tumor growth and survival, a reduction in tumor cell proliferation, and the induction of tumor cell apoptosis. The inhibitory effect of this agent is independent of the tumor suppressor genes VHL and p53 and may be related to derangements in glucose uptake and metabolism due to inhibition of glucose transporter-1 (Glut-1). PX-478 has excellent activity against established human tumor xenografts, providing tumor regressions with prolonged growth delays which correlate positively with HIF-1 levels. PX-478 is a highly water soluble molecule, with good i.v., i.p. and p.o. antitumor activity. It is rapidly absorbed following oral and i.p. administration and gives excellent Cmax and AUC via these routes. Group: Pharmaceutical. Alternative Names: PX-478 2HCl; PX-478 hydrochloride; Melphalan N-Oxide Impurity HCl; Melphalan N-Oxide Impurity hydrochloride; L-Phenylalanine, 4-[bis(2-chloroethyl)oxidoamino]-, dihydrochloride; L-Phenylalanine, 4-[bis(2-chloroethyl)oxidoamino]-, hydrochloride (1:2).
